Impes Innovation Pvt. Ltd. provided Basic Engineering and technical consultancy services for the Mango Pulp Processing Plant developed for fruit processing and pulp production. The facility is designed to process fresh mangoes into mango pulp used in various food and beverage applications.
The client was facing an issue where the plant was not able to achieve its originally designed processing capacity. Impes Innovation was engaged to perform a process review and capacity revalidation study of the existing mango pulp evaporation plant to identify the root cause of the problem.
During the evaluation, our team identified that high pressure drop in the process line was restricting the system performance, which resulted in lower throughput than the design capacity. After detailed analysis, Impes Innovation recommended appropriate pump replacement and system optimization, which successfully reduced the pressure drop and enabled the plant to achieve the desired operating capacity.
